PRAISE STICKS (Release The Power )

One morning several years ago while in prayer I heard a sound in the spirit that was like the sound of a large clock ticking. That sound caused me to began to pray harder with more focus and force! After prayer I could not get that sound out of my head. Several days past then I remembered how King David fashioned instruments to make certain sounds for praise and worship. So the Holy Spirit led me to my basement and a few hours later Praise Sticks were born. At first I was just using them in personal prayer. But I soon realized they were perfect for personal praise and worship as well. I made them for my wife and children and we began to use them at home and church! So then I began making them for people at church. Soon people began to give testimonies on how when they prayed, praised or worshiped using these sticks things began to happen! I can already hear what you are saying. Is not the sound of my voice more than enough for my prayers to be heard? The answer is yes. But answer this, why did God give Moses a voice and a stick? So that the sound of the words coming from his voice plus the power of God flowing through his staff would bring fear in the enemies camp and drive him out! There is a sound that will make that roaring lion flee. Every time these Praise Sticks come together a cross is formed and a sound is made that I believe puts fear in satan's heart. In EZEKIEL 37:15-17 the Lord told the Son of Man to write names on two separate sticks. Then in the sight of the people bring them together and make them one to signify what God was about to do. The names are Judah which means praise! Israel which means solider of God! These two names are on one stick. On the other was written Joseph which means increase and Ephraim which means fruitfulness. Every time the sticks came together what was being released into the atmosphere was this : Praise Solider of God Increase Fruitfulness!!! Their faith was intensified. The just shall live by faith. CHANGED

At the start of 2008 the Lord placed in my spirit to teach on the quickening power of the Holy Spirit. He then had me to spend some time talking about our carnal nature and the differences between non Christan , Christan, and carnal Christan. ( Refer to pass blogs for those teachings. )
Now it is time to focus on what happens when the quickening power of the Holy Spirit comes in contact with our carnal nature. When you yield yourself to the workings of the Holy Spirit you are changed. When you allow the words of God to enter your heart and not just your head you are changed. When you spend time in true prayer you are changed. When you express yourself to God in true praise and worship you are changed. These changes are designed to transform us into the image of Jesus Christ. Rom.8:29 Therefore we are not just being changed for the better, but we are being transformed into the best! True believers should always expect change. The Spirit of God is moving first in us, then thur us , then all around us to cause change in the earth. Well, we are the earth! Change must come to us first in order for the natural world to change. At this point in time the whole world is crying out for change. God's answer to this cry is the revealing of his sons and daughters in the earth. These are people of all nations, ages, and economic status that have yielded to the power of God moving in them to bring about change. Because of their eternal progressive relationship with God, they hear and obey him. He then because of relationship transforms them into world changers. Know that change must come in the spirit world and the natural world. If we yield to God and resist satan then victorious change will be a constant in our life. Also the faster we yield to God the faster the change takes place. It's your time children of God! Time for change!!!

The Carnal Christian (Intro)

The word carnal means of or connected with the appetites and passions of the body. It also means sensual (of or having to do with the bodily senses rather than the soul). Therefore someone who is carnal minded is being led by their body (the five senses) and not their soul (mind ,will, and emotions). The carnal person says this" if it looks good, sounds good, feels good, tastes good, and smells good then it must be good! Their actions are based on the information that the body gathers from out side itself with little or no internal thought process. They live by impulse. The best example of this kind of behavior is a baby or a young child. They see an object that they must have, so they take steps to get it at any cost. Once they have it, they feel it, taste it, smell it, eat it, then throw it away and go to the next thing. That child is selfish, rude, and determined, with a very short attention span. They go to and fro just to see what is there, totally driven by their senses. They want their way! All of this sounds familiar because this is the way of the world. The world view and system is carnal in nature. The sum total of the world's knowledge is carnal! ( gathered by the senses.) Therefore everyone that follows the world view is carnal in their nature. They believe and follow the teachings of the world. Who then is a true Christan? A true Christan is anyone who believes and follows the teachings and ways of Jesus the Christ. Simply put, if you believe and follow the teachings and ways of the world, then you are carnal in your nature. ( Your flesh is in control.) But, if you believe and follow the teachings and ways of Christ, you are becoming more Spirit in nature. (The mind of Christ is in control.) Who then is a carnal Christian? A carnal Christan is anyone who believes in Jesus the Christ, but does not follow his teachings or ways. Also a carnal Christan is anyone who follows Christ's teachings and ways, but dose not believe in him. In either case they have sensed Christ with their senses, but have not received him as Lord by his Spirit. They see him as knowledge to be received, stored, or deleted as they see fit. They don't see him for who he truly is, the ultimate force sent by God to save and change their lives forever. In Romans 8:1-17 it states clearly that Jesus is that life changing force who operates by the Spirit of God to cancel out the works of the flesh. Thur him we can indeed function by the Spirit and live forever. We no longer have to live in a carnal way which leads to death. When it is time for us as children of God to stand and fight we do not use carnal weapons of the world. The weapons we choose should be Spirit in nature which are above and more powerful than any thing the world has to offer. ( read 2 Cor. 10:2-7) So children of God, let use no longer be carnal in our nature. Let Christ have full control. It's our time, let him lead us to victory!

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah is the highest praise that a human can express. It means Praise Ye The Lord! I find it very interesting that the highest praise that can be uttered is also a command. When you say Hallelujah, a command is being given to everything and everybody under the sound of your voice to praise the Lord! Why? Because there is something about praising God that changes things. So when you use the highest praise, expect the highest and best changes to occur! The greatest and most important change will be in your relationship with God. Like king David said, I command my soul (your mind, will, and emotions) to praise the Lord! Command your soul to praise God. No matter how you feel, or what you have or don't have, or who you are with give him the best Hallelujah you can utter.Taking our focus off of this fear driven world and putting it on praising God no matter what is going on, is very pleasing in his sight. Hallelujah brings changes within you first, then to your very surroundings. Why? Because that word is spoken by faith. Therefore putting your trust in God by speaking his word releases God's power to effect your life. Hallelujah is very powerful! It will take you from faith to faith and from glory to glory. So children of God, let Hallelujah be the first word you speak to start your day, and let it be the last word you speak to end your day. God's words are not empty! Release the power!

The Prophetic Voice of God

For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophesy!





Where the spirit of prophesy is, it is testifying that Jesus has come, is here and is coming. Because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. When we gather in His name He comes to see what we are doing and testifies of Himself. An individual may prophesy out of the gift of prophesy without actually knowing God because gifts and callings are irrevocable. In

(Matthew 7:21 - 23) Jesus says this "Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day have we not prophesied in thy name? And then will he reply I never knew you:depart from me.) But to have the spirit of prophesy means everything and everyone in the vacinity of the spirit can prophesy and will prophesy including the children, animals and inanimate objects testify of Jesus. When we gather on Sundays or whenever we gather together corporately the spirit of prophesy is in our midst. You see it through our children, our building (doors, windows, colors etc.) , the animals, our songs, our worship, our teaching and our preaching. God said to Joel in the book of Joel in the bible that in the last days He was going to pour out His spirit upon all flesh and He is doing just that. Our building is shape like a boat (the ark) and varies animals gather outside as we gather inside to worship God. We have had rabbits, opposums, doves, skunks, and deer visit us and come up to the window in daylight and at night in the lights and stay awhile. We are in the middle of a neighborhood on the northwest side of Detroit. That's right! God often used animals to tell a story or give messages and He still is doing that. If you can believe all things are possible with God. What would be the purpose of that you might ask. God doesn't waste anything like we sometimes do. Everything He made He wants to use it to communicate to His children, if we let Him. He talks about people, plants, trees, animals, water and clouds in Genesis, the beginning and Revelation, the end. Read about it check it out. He is still speaking through those things if we would just listen. God desires to walk and talk to and with us throughout the day but we so often turn Him off or don't pay attention to what He is trying to say. Let's take some time and listen to what He is saying. You may have questions you have beeen asking God and He has beeen answering you but you were and are looking for Him to speak to you a certain way but He is talking another way so we miss what is being said. God can use dreams, visions, billboards, the bible, signs, whatever He wants to use to answer you. Just be open to receive.

Who Are We?

Perhaps the most difficult question anyone can ever be asked is Who are You? How do you answer such a question? There are those who live their entire life afraid to even try to answer that question. I believe that there are also people who live every minute of each day searching for the answers to their identity. They are not afraid to ask themselves Who am I? Whether someone asks you or you ask yourself something inside you needs to know the truth. We need to know that we are more than what the world says we are. We are more than just a number among numbers. The name that you have is more important than the number you were assigned. For example Jesus was part of a nation of people. At the time of his birth there was a census being taken which required his parents to be in Bethlehem to be numbered with their people. While there Jesus was born. Therefore he received a number and was counted with the nation. The number was important, but it did not define him. His definition came from his name. The name that God gave to Mary his mother.( Matt.1:21) For contained in that name was purpose and destiny to save the entire world. This was God's plan for Jesus, so he named him accordingly. I believe that God is no respecter of persons, so with us he does the same thing. He defines who you are through your God given name. As you begin to walk with him, that name comes to life and begins to be fulfilled. I also believe he is very specific in what he does. God calls things according to his design. He does no less with his people. He calls us by design for a specific purpose, at a given time, according to his plan. Only thur a true relationship with him can you even begin to be aware of his plan for the life he has given you. The answer to who you are is found in him. Purpose is found in him. Destiny is fulfilled in him. So connect to him with your all. He wants to reveal to you the mystery that is you. God says that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony (Rev.12:11) The blood of the Lamb is set and sure, the word of our testimony is not. For you see testimony can be false. The words about you will be false if the source of the words are false. Only the words of God about you contain all truth. He cannot lie. If you put your trust in the false, then you will never know who you really are. Purpose and destiny is lost in the false. Who you are can not be answered by you. The true answer must come from God. Therefore seek God. He promises to give the answers. You can start by asking him to give you the full definition of your full name. The answer will bless you richly. It's your time children of God! Go obtain, maintain, and progress in the name of Jesus!

The Quickening

The King James bible says in 1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit." Here the word spirit being spelled with a capital S signifies the Holy Spirit. The word quickened means the following : to live, exist, to enjoy life, to live anew, to recover, to be well, to make alive, to enliven, animate, to rebuild, as it is implied quicken pertains to life! Therefore the Holy Spirit is a quickening spirit, which brings or creates life in that which is dead. In Genesis, He took that which was void of life and filled it, including man. It is only by the quickening power of the Holy Spirit that our soul ( mind, will, and emotions ) can truly be reset to God like we where in the beginning of time. Our soul without God is like the dust of the earth. As the wind blows the dust is scattered all over the place. It has no foundation! God does not want our soul to be scattered like the dust by every wind of doctrine. When we yield to the Holy Spirit, He brings our dead soul to life with the true word of God. He is the Spirit of Truth! Gen. 119:25 says " My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word." Simply put, it means bring life to my soul by your word. Genesis 119 also says that the Holy Spirit quickens according to not just the Word of God, but also according to his Way, his Righteousness, his Loving kindness, and his Judgment. His word brings our soul to life. His way brings new life to our environment. (It is changed for the better.) His righteousness keeps the life of the new environment progressing. His loving kindness brings life to your spirit, soul, and body. This is now who you are. (You become animated.) His judgment gives life to what you do. Each time the Holy Spirit quickens us, we receive strength to keep going. So children of God yield yourself to the power of the Holy Spirit today and tap into what you need. It is your time, receive the power to finish!

The Quickening Part 2 (video)

Freedom of The Soul

The soul is the inward part of us that is made up of three parts. Contained within the soul is our mind, will, and emotions. It controls what we think, when we act on what we think, and the level of energy our body will use to complete the acting out of the taught. To just keep it simple think of it this way, as the soul goes, so does the body. Therefore whatever effects the soul, also will effect the body. It is for this reason we as childern of God must take on the mind of Christ. Why? Because Jesus The Christ is the only one who confronted our enemy and totally got the victory over him in every situation! He has instructed his disciples ( who we are! ) to learn of him! We are to study what he did, understand why he did it, and apply it to our every day life. God's word renews our mind and frees us from the bondage of earthly thinking. The mind of Christ is truth! The truth shall set you free! Satan tries to control our soul by constantly bombarding the world with lies. Faith comes by hearing. Therefore if a lie is heard long enough it is believed to be true, thus enslaveing the believer to a lie! Our soul is going to function by either the truth or a lie. It is only by the true word of God working in our soul can our bodies act out his will for our destiny. Only a soul that has been set free by God can truly praise and worship him. Psalm 95:6,7 says "O come, let us worship and bow down : let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God". Only souls free from the world can command their souls to use their bodies in this fashion. So children of God, you are free! Stay free! It's your time, so live your life well.

The Seven D's

Seven is the number that represents completeness. God has a plan for our life that will make us totally complete in the areas of relationships, health, and finances. Satan's plan for us is to totally destroy us in these three areas. How dose he plan to do it? His plan is simple. He will use us against ourselves! He will try to release what I like to call the Seven D's upon us to make us think and act in ways that will kill, steal, humiliate, and destroy us and the generations to come. He wants to kill our faith and cut us off from God the Father forever. The following is a list of the Seven D's as they will occur in our life if we allow them into our thought pattens. They are in order of occurrence as follows:

Doubt: To be AFRAID! Fear that makes you question God's word and his goodness.

Distraction: To draw or cause to turn away from the original position, goal, purpose, direction, association, or interest.

Diversion: The act or instance of diverting from one course or use to another. Something that turns the mind from serious concerns or ordinary matters and relaxes or amuses turning the mind to pleasure. Diversion often times makes the wrong things seem attractive so that you will want them more than the right things.

Discouragement: The act of discouraging to deprive of courage or confidence. Discourage implies loss of courage, confidence, and resolution. There is a sapping effect of fear, doubt, and inability to muster up further hope and determination. Discouragement is designed to make you look at your problems rather than at God the answer to your problems.

Depression: The act of depressing or the quality or state of being depressed. (Sad). Depress means to make or cause to sink, fall, or assume a lower level, position, point, situation, or attitude. It also means to lessen, diminish, impoverish, or depreciate the activity, strength level, yield, or significance of a person or a place. (To Oppress).

Delay: Delay means to put off or prolong the time of or before. To postpone, stop, detain, or hinder for a time. The goal is to make you put off doing something so that it never gets done.

Defeat: Defeat means to undo, or to destroy. To disfigure or to render null and void. To win the victory over, check the progress of, or destroy the power of a person or a people. The goal is to make you feel like a failure so you don't even try.

The only sure way to stop the Seven D's from destroying your life is to never let doubt ( the first D) about God and who you are in him to enter your mind. Know and believe the word of God, that satan is defeated! So children of God , don't let the enemy play with your mind! You have the victory! It's your time, live it well!

Rules Of The Kingdom (Part One)

*I am not certain how long this particular article will be, but I do know that it's length will have no equal to it's content, for it's content is essential and vital for every individual who professes citizenship in the Kingdom of God. It is about laws, rules, statutes, commandments, precepts, judgments, guidelines and boundaries. In the book of Genesis when God the Creator uttered His word and formed the earth and everything in it and on it, he set invisible boundaries and rules for everything he created. The scripture tells us in chapter one of Genesis that the earth was without form and void and darkness covered everything. "And God said, Let there be light ... and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness Night'. Here, we read what we can consider to be one of the first unwritten laws of God. The law was that light was to rule the Day, and darkness was to rule the night. The boundaries were set and they could not override the spoken word of the Creator. ( See Ps. 19:1-9). In verse 11 of this same chapter, God performs another creative act. He creates the grass, herb yielding seed, fruit trees yielding seed after his kind whose seed is in itself. The earth obeyed Gods command, (Gods law). Thus, the earth brought forth grass, herbs, and fruit trees that were impregnated with their own ability to reproduce themselves after their own kind. Simply stated, the law established by God was that the seed of the plum cannot, once planted, produce oranges because that was not the established law of the Creator God. The plum tree can only produce plums, the apple tree can only reproduce apples and so on. In verse 16, it is written, "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the Day, and the lesser light to rule the Night."If you will notice, not only does each light have a boundaries, they also have separate degrees of strength, distinguishing one from the other. He made the stars also. Here again, we see an unwritten law or rule, the first being that the greater light, the sun, would have dominant rule and rule the day, while the lesser light, the moon, and the stars, would rule at night. The boundaries were set by the word of God, the rule established and it has been that way ever since, and it will stay that way until the end of the age. End part one.

Later we will continue to learn the meaning and purpose of ruler ship so we can begin to see the importance of boundaries, commandments, statutes and laws.

FAMILY SECRETS

The things that GOD has prepared for this time and the time to come is for his family. There are things that the family of GOD can only discern through the Holy Spirit. These family matters are revealed to us by the power of the Holy Spirit. The knowledge that GOD is revealing and releasing in our time is specific for our time. It is supernatural wisdom and knowledge that GOD has hidden in the natural world from the ungodly of the natural world. This wisdom is from above, and is pure. (James 3:17) There is nothing new under the sun. GOD has hidden some things right before us to be released as he wills. I believe that now is the time for the unveiling of the true family of GOD. These true fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters only purpose is to do the will of Father GOD. He has given the members of his family the ability to see the hidden things. He has also given them the wisdom and the will to apply this supernatural knowledge. The world is natural and can only truly be changed through supernatural means. So children of GOD eat from the hidden manna, trust him, and allow him to give you the secrets to become true world changers.
